Photographer Robert Altermoser set out to show people that dogs from shelters are no worse than purebred and expensive dogs.
Robert has been working as a volunteer for several months while traveling around Europe.
During this time, he met hundreds of rescued dogs, who thanked them for their help with their humble gaze. The photographer decided to capture these faces, full of hope and longing.
Robert organized the Everydaystray project, which means "homeless people every day." In his Instagram under the nickname @everydaystray he shares photos of dogs from all shelters where he visited and worked. Thus, he wants to reach out to people and show that all dogs are the same and the dog from the shelter will also be faithful to his master, like a thoroughbred dog with an excellent pedigree. Though the homeless have no famous champion parents, they have the most devoted hearts.
Robert's work has borne fruit. Several dogs have already found their owners. This once again proves that animals from shelters can still find their happiness.
