Theft of cattle in recent years has gained almost industrial proportions. Attackers are abducting cows no longer “at retail” as before, but “in bulk” - with whole herds.
In the Irkutsk region, from a pasture outside the village of Nelkhai, the company of previously convicted guys “realized for three” the village herd left unattended. The enterprising thieves managed to discreetly drive 32 cows over thirty kilometers - to their home, in the city of Cheremkhovo. While law enforcement officers found the missing, nine cows have already been sold.
But the "hijackers" from the Bryansk region managed to find much faster - just two hours after the theft. Two local residents took the gullible cows into the forest for grazing near the village of Getmanova Buda: they later wanted to transfer them to the city and hand them over to wholesalers there. This time there were 51 cows in the stolen herd.
