Volunteers from a shelter in Yekaterinburg are looking for new owners for a mini-pig. The animal seemed “wild” to the previous owners, the MIR24 channel broadcasts.
The previous owners of pigs named Bazooka could not get used to the pig’s temper of the animal and handed it over to the shelter. Mumps is two years old. In its behavior, it is more like a dog: it joyfully meets and always wants to play.
The head of the Center for Animal Rehabilitation Elizabeth Skorynina explains that so far Bazooka is not amenable to training and in every possible way shows her stubborn character.
For the new owners, the shelter workers will have a number of requirements: for Bazuki only a private house is suitable, where the pig will sometimes behave like all individuals of its kind - “in a pig's way”. They will be able to pick up the animal only after the New Year holidays, so that no one would be tempted to present it as a gift.
